So pleased to have found this video on YouTube. A metaphor for life itself; a glorious pop song - one of my most favourites - with a great vocal delivery that gives me goose pimples. I Didn’t know it was the UK’s Eurovision entry for 1965 (second place). How times change.


On a similar note, Bob Stanley’s (Saint Etienne) recent “pre-rock” article in The Guardian (Music) gives some interesting food for thought regarding the accepted truth of the origins of pop music and rock n’ roll.
